Oak & Iron is a full-service salon & modern electric tattoo shop with two locations in Buffalo, NY

We aren’t your average salon or tattoo shop. We passionately provide a safe space for people of all religions, races, genders and sexual orientations. Our artists strive to raise the standard of safety and professionalism in both tattoo shops and salons alike. We are committed to giving back to our community, providing cruelty-free options, offering educational programs to help grow our trade, and much more!

Raising the Standard

All of our tattoo artists and salon staff has completed a professional Bloodborne Pathogen Control Class. This means that we know the absolute safest and cleanest way to tattoo.

Our community is an integral part of our business. You’ll find a lot of our events are collaborations with other businesses in Buffalo whose ethics align with our own.

Education

We offer constant education to all of our staff and community to grow in their trade. Classes and workshops for the public are in the near future as well.

We actively choose ingredients from companies that don’t commission tests on animals. We offer vegan options for both hair and nails and even have 100% vegan tattooing options.
